Here's the relevent comparison: 20 hours * 0.1 W = 2 Watt/hours. That puts the fuel cell mid-way between AAA and AA bateries on stored power.

I somehow doubt that this would be a great thing for devices that are used infrequently like a remote control, but why not just put on a bigger tank for when you need a few days of decent power.
