US robot troops to go into battle

From the article:That is the stated purpose. But later in the article the true reason comes down to jobs:There is no mention in the article about what will happen to the millions of soldiers and support personnel whose jobs will be completely eliminated by the flood of robots into the military. With this same process happening throughout the economy, it is very unclear what people will do for employment. See also:See also:

There is a lack of understanding on the priorities of the military if there is great concern placed on unemployed soldiers.

Fewer people dieing for military objectives is the primary concern. Cost is secondary, but incorporated in cost is the time spent fighting & thus the number of opponent soldier who die.

Technology that lets our soldiers die less, their armies get defeated faster w/ fewer casualties, and costs less money, is a win-win-win option.
